Transitional fixtures
Spherical is the purest expression of Surround Reality. It is not the only configuration we deliver, and for a great many programs it is not the one the building will allow.
Transitional fixtures produce the same surrounding environment across a range of geometries — flat or cylindrical runs joined at the corners by compound-curved sections — so the display follows walls that already exist. The surface stays seamless: no bezels, no blend zones, no facets at the joins.
Why this decides programs
Clear-span floor area is the most common physical reason a large opportunity quietly dies, and it is usually knowable in the first conversation. A requirement written around a full sphere disqualifies every building that cannot host one — which, for facilities that already exist, is most of them. Stringent program requirements can be met inside the building you have, without demanding a new or heavily modified structure.
Where it fits best
Watch floors and operations centers, most often. Those rooms are usually seated at consoles, already built, and showing a large arrangement of feeds rather than a surrounding world — which is exactly the case a transitional geometry serves without compromise.
Raise it early
Bring the room into the first conversation rather than the third. A clear-span requirement that goes unexamined tends to decide the program before anyone has asked whether it needed to.
