Scope

What we deliver

Most display suppliers leave this vague until contract. We would rather it could be priced in the first meeting.

Scope demarcation between TigerVision and the integratorTigerVision supplies the display structure, LED modules, fixtures, calibration and commissioning, together with the controller, the receiving cards and the physically separate link between them. Two connections cross the interface: power, and a video signal over HDMI, DisplayPort 1.4 or SDI. No IP connection is required for the display to operate. TigerVision supplies
The display structure, the LED modules, the fixtures that carry the geometry, the controller and receiving cards and the link between them, the calibration that makes the rendering correct at the design eyepoint, and the commissioning that proves it.
The interface
Two connections and a mounting arrangement. We publish all of it, so a prime can price their side without discovering it later.
The integrator supplies
The image generator, the simulation or C2 application, the compiling of the various inputs into the feed the display receives, and the facility work beyond our fixture envelope.

What crosses the interface

Power, and a video signal. The display accepts HDMI, DisplayPort 1.4 or SDI. It does not require an IP connection to operate, and it does not join a building network.

There is a network inside the display — the controller drives the receiving cards over copper or fiber, depending on the run — and it is ours. It is physically separate and completely standalone. It is not a segment of anything, and it cannot be made one.

Image generation sits outside the display, as does the work of compiling several inputs into the single feed the display is given. Which of the input formats we supply is worth settling early rather than late, and we work directly with image generator vendors to settle it.

Manufacturing and supply

Where the hardware is made is part of what is being priced, and for many programs it is decisive before anything else is discussed.
