What this scale serves

The R14 is the most-travelled part in the line. A 28-foot display plane holds a seated group at classroom scale, and it is large enough that the surface reads as an environment rather than as a screen at the front of a room.

It is the size where the seamlessness argument becomes visible to a non-specialist. At 28 feet a bezel, a blend zone or a facet is not a technical footnote — it is a line across the world, and everyone in the room can see it. There is nothing to see here, which is the point.

It is also the part that has been struck, moved and recommissioned rather than replaced. That is a harder fact to produce than a row of site names, and it is the one a federal reader actually weighs.
